Polysert Solarshield Solar Inserts

Product Quality

At Polysert we only use the highest quality materials available. As you can see from the makeup of our solar inserts there are many processes in creating our solar inserts, one of which is a specific UV barrier. This barrier reflects 99% of the sun's UV rays preventing the solar insert from discolouring and stopping these harmful rays from entering the conservatory through the roof. These processes are only as good as the film they are applied to. We specifically use Biaxially Orientated Polyester Film (BoPET) opposed to Unilaterally Drawn Polyester Film (PET) as BoPET drawn film has superior qualities to the standard PET film.

Please be aware that there are less expensive films available on the market. These films have a tendency to fade due to having no UV barrier and are typically produced using the less expensive Unilaterally drawn PET film which does not produce the same benefits as Biaxially Oriented PET Film.
